The MAKER Litzine began in the summer of 2008 when four writers, Paula Mendoza-Hanna, Matthew N. Anderson, Zack Tuck, and Ryan Bender-Murphy came together in the grueling Texas heat to produce the very first MAKER, a collection of poems and stories.  Thanks to the support and interest of writers in and out of Austin, TX, the artistic diversity of each new MAKER has grown and continues to include wonderful, emerging writers.
